Danny Clinch at Jazzfest with My Morning Jacket and Preservation Hall Jazz Band

My Morning Jacket and Preservation Hall Jazz Band joined forces at Jazzfest for an unrehearsed, acoustic benefit gig at the 200 year old Preservation Hall in the French Quarter of New Orleans.  Full article and images can be seen in the May 27th issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

After an epic performance on stage, the bands took the show outside for a 3 AM second-line parade through the streets.

PHJB has just recorded a song with Lenny Kravitz and Mos Def to benefit Gulf Aid, the nonprofit established in response to the oil spill off the Louisiana Coast.
